Concept Statement: New Zealand's native people, the Maori, have a very strong influence on the New Zealand culture today. Whether it's food, architecture, community, or lifestyle, their presence has made an impact throughout the country. The Maori aesthetic will be incorporated throughout the space by using natural colors and materials, hand carved wood, and greenery through biophilic design.
